Global Artistry is pleased to announce the relaunch of their website GlobalArtistry.com. The website will reveal a new image campaign for the Global Artistry brand and feature more options to subscribers and to the artist community. The new website will continuously stream updated art news, artist information and artwork for anybody interested in buying, selling or brokering artwork and arts and craft pieces. Launching in May, GlobalArtistry.com will feature a wider selection of arts and crafts through enhanced search engine capabilities and a larger network of artists. In addition, Global Artistry has eliminated subscription fees for all artists in an effort to recruit and support the artist community by making their services affordable and more focused. “The financial component of turning artwork into a sale is actually a huge distraction for the artist.” said Global Artistry founder and president, Emily Reeh. “Global Artistry is a safe and effective environment for the artist to work on his/her craft, display the work, and make a sale – all on one platform.” Under the subscription terms, Global Artistry is a free service for artists who want to create a personal page on the website to post their artwork, biography and a link to an existing website. This subscription also includes a basic marketing structure through Global Artistry, which has direct mail pieces, college recruitment programs, media advertising and most importantly, search engine optimization. “If an artist decides that his/her artwork will require more aggressive marketing efforts, these options are available in different levels and fees,” says Reeh. The website handles all financial transactions between an artist and the customer and ensures secure and complete delivery to both parties. “Global Artistry is passionate about contributing to the artist community and exposing a new generation of artists and art genres to the world.” said Reeh. “Our subscriber base is a good example of how art is not limited to portraits and oil paintings.” In fact, one of Global Artistry’s top success stories is a brand of authentic, handmade jewelry called, earcandy, a brand and creation of Brooke Harland – Global Artistry subscriber since September, 2005. “GA helped me make my first sale by making it very easy for the shoppers to complete a sale. A shopper would have immediate access to browse my collection, add a set of earrings to their cart and just as quickly, purchase the item.” Said Brooke Harland. “And because Global Artistry manages the back end of all my transactions, it makes it especially easy for me to concentrate on my work and sell!” Also, Global Artistry welcomes artists with vast art collections or for the first-time artists with a single piece on display. Said Brooke Harland, “Global Artistry offers a very accommodating situation where an artist can post 1 or 100 pieces on the site, or anything just to get their brand out there. Just before I learned about Global Artistry, I knew I needed to create a website for earcandy, but didn’t have the slightest clue on how to begin...especially because I wanted to sell product on the site! Global Artistry was the perfect solution because they made it very easy for me to upload my pieces, explain the story behind each piece, and most importantly, they handled all financial transactions. The website even recognizes an “artist of the month,” which is an advertising bonus!” About GlobalArtistry.com Founder Emily Reeh conceptualized GlobalArtistry.com in 2005 with the goal to promote and encourage growth among the emerging artists. At GlobalArtistry.com, artists can create a personal page to upload images of their work for sale, link their existing websites and communicate directly with buyers and other artists within the network. A free service to artists includes basic marketing techniques, including search engine optimization and email alerts announcing new pieces to the website. The site uses PayPal® and takes all forms of credit card to complete financial transactions between the artists and buyer, and provides funding to the artists as quickly as possible without the need to establish merchant accounts. A 15% commission is taken on sales at the site unless referrals have reduced this amount. Check out www.globalartistry.com for more information.
