Global Artistry.com is an online art gallery offering artists the opportunity to sell their art around the world no matter their skill level or medium. Globalartistry.com was developed in 2004 by marketing executive Emily Reeh. Emily volunteered her home to host a jewelry party for close friend and artist Brooke Harland. Brooke, a jewelry designer, worked full time during the day and created jewelry when free time allowed. After the party ended, Emily instantly knew how to help Brooke and artists just like her further their careers with minimal effort. Emily decided to create a website giving artists with little financial backing or marketing experience the opportunity to sell their art throughout the world via the internet.
